Inclusion of those less fortunate fits perfectly with Bradfield’s ethos. Thank you for all the work this entails.

I received a bursary and the 2 years in 6th form that I spent at Bradfield were the most formative of my life (K 02-04). I made friends for life and so many happy memories. Thank you to the dedicated staff too - as I teacher now myself, I can see how much they gave to the school and the pupils.

Any talent I encouraged from the many students I taught over 21 years was paid back in spades by their irrepressible, responsive energy and enthusiasm. A blessing too often taken for granted at the time!

Always proud to support Bradfield — it’s a place that gave me some of my best memories and friendships. I feel lucky to be seeing lots of familiar Bradfield faces tonight, so it felt like the perfect moment to give back. Hope others can create the same unforgettable experiences I did.

Bradfield was 5 of the happiest years of my life. G House was great fun, but I made lifelong friends from across the school. Just a gorgeous place to spend my teenage years.

I joined my late brother, Arthur Somerset, who was in The Close when Bradfield stepped in to help me finish my A levels after my previous school had closed suddenly. As the first (and only) girl, The Close became my 'unofficial refuge' between classes thanks to the House Master, Michael Parkinson.
